KLEUR! was founded bij Sandra de Koning in 2008. She founded her company on “the four P’s”: Professional, Personal, Practical, and Pleasant. Her clients have recognized and appreciated these four P’s in the course of the last few years. In 2013 KLEUR! celebrated its fifth anniversary (picture gallery).
The name KLEUR! (COLOR!)
This started out as a “fun word” a great name for a company. In the course of time, the name KLEUR! has colored the company’s identity. The dictionary defines color as:
Color (noun) [kuhl-er] (French: colour)
- the quality of an object or substance with respect to light reflected by the object, sometimes determined by measurement of hue, saturation, and brightness of the reflected light, but more often determined by the impact it has on the retina.
- every component of white light, including combinations thereof.
- the obvious and visible side of the matter at hand.
Discover your color
Many development programs start with the phase “discover your own color” in the form of a behavioral and motivational analysis. Discovering your own color is a metaphor for gaining insight into, and become aware of, your talents and assets. This will help you discover your own strength and help you to gain the necessary confidence to develop yourself further.
Show your colors
The next phase is “showing your colors”. This is a metaphor for an open and honest interaction with yourself and others. This will enable you to take the first concrete steps towards transparency and effective behaviors.
Live your true colors
The final phase allows you to live your “true colors”. This phase is a metaphor for making clear and conscious choices, formulating goals, applying focus and doing what makes you happy. This will engage a lasting change, one that allows you to reach a state of self-management.
The different phases are at the base of our own developed KLEUR!-approach.
